Created by Melissa London Hilfers, the series is the first production of Fox Entertainment Studios. Country music star Trace Adkins has been cast in the upcoming Fox drama series Monarch. The upcoming series staring country music legend Trace Adkins will no longer premiere this month, a spokesperson has confirmed. The concert premieres on PBS Sunday (May 28) at 8 pm ET and will repeat the program at 9:30 pm ET. Monarch is an American musical drama television series about a country music family. The program will include a tribute to Vietnam War POWs and Gold Star families, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and remembrance of World War II. Epatha Merkerson, John Slattery, Dule Hill, Yolanda Adams, Mary McCormack, The War and Treaty, Chosen Jacobs, Phillip Phillips, Megan Hilty and Jack Everly, along with the National Symphony Orchestra. Adkins is currently on his US tour, with upcoming dates in December 2021, all the way through the summer of 2022.
